Private Henry Allen no. 92176 served with the 9th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts and Derby Regt) was killed in action on the 4th of October 1917 aged 28. Private H Allen is Remembered with Honour in the Tyne Cot Memorial, Belgium.
