Gilbert Edward Cooper

On the 25th January 1916 Pte. Gilbert Edward Cooper A/20029 of the 16th Bn Canadian Infantry died of wounds aged 23.

Gilbert was born in Abbots Bromley in 1892 in Bagot Street, his father was the local Wheelwright.
In 1903 the family emigrated to Canada. Gilbert is buried in the Bailleul Communal Cememtery Extension, Nord.
