Pte. Michael John Harvey was killed in action while serving on the Somme with the Northumberland Fusiliers Tyneside Scottish Regiment
Michael was born in Abbots Bromley in 1886 and was from a farming background.
On the 1911 Census he was working on his fathers farm, he was also very talented in fretwork.
