In order to commemorate the individual centenaries of those who lost their lives in the Great War, a display will be presented in church for each casualty. On each occasion, a short commemorative gathering will be conducted at the War Memorial. The bell ringers will also toll a bell 100 times for each casualty on the respective evening.
In order for the ‘Nostalgia’ Team to continue with their research and development of a local history data base, they welcome all information that you may have relating to Abbots Bromley. Photographs and personal family memorabilia will be recorded and promptly returned. Home visits to record information can also be supported.
