Today the village said a sad farewell to a Bromley lad. Gordon John Harley passed away 25th April 2022 age 87 known as Gord to his family and friends. Gordon born in 1934 attended Richard Clarke School and only left the village during National Service when he was posted to Korea with the North Staffs. Gordon and his dad George will always be remembered for planting the daffodils in Radmore Lane which are amazing to see in March/April. Our thoughts are with the family at this sad time. RIP Gordon – you will be sadly missed.
